Manuel Enrique Mejuto Gonzalez (Spain) has been designated as the referee for the Final of the World Youth Championships between Argentina and Ghana
FIFA has nominated the Spanish referee, Manuel Enrique Mejuto Gonzalez for the Final of the World Youth Championships Argentina 2001. The match between Argentina and Ghana will take place on Sunday, 8 July 2001, at the José Amalfitani Stadium in Buenos Aires (Kick off: 15:45). The assistants to the referee will be Simeon Tsolakidis (Greece) and José Francisco Ramirez Diaz (Mexico). The fourth official will be José Benigno Pineda Fernandez (Honduras).
The match for the 3rd and 4th places between Paraguay and Egypt will take place on the same day and at the same venue (Kick off: 13:00). The referee for this match will be Toru Kamikawa (Japan). He will be assisted by Kenneth Petersson (Sweden) and Haidar Koleit (Lebanon). The fourth official will be Terje Hauge (Norway).
