Bibiani Gold Stars have set their sights on reclaiming the Ghana Premier League crown after missing out on last season’s title, with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Akwasi Adu declaring the club’s ambition to emerge champions in the 2026/27 campaign.
The upcoming Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to begin from September 4–7, 2026, and will run until the final weekend of May 28–31, 2027.
Gold Stars will start their campaign with a difficult away fixture against Bechem United.
After losing the league title race to Medeama SC last season, the Bibiani-based club is determined to challenge for top honours once again.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, Akwasi Adu revealed that winning the league title remains the club’s main objective ahead of the new season.
"We’re targeting winning the Ghana Premier League title this season," he said.
Gold Stars have established themselves as one of the competitive forces in Ghanaian football in recent years, winning their maiden Premier League title two seasons ago under head coach Frimpong Manso.
With preparations underway for the new campaign, the club’s leadership believes they have the structure and ambition required to mount another serious title challenge.
