The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has charged Vision FC for breaching provisions of its Disciplinary Code, 2019, following their Ghana Premier League encounter against Swedru All Blacks United FC.
In an official statement, the GFA indicated that the charges relate to the club’s alleged failure to guarantee the safety and security of match officials both during and after the fixture.
Vision FC has also been cited for misconduct linked to sections of its supporters in the aftermath of the game.
The football governing body maintains that the incidents represent serious violations of league regulations, particularly those concerning the protection of match officials and the maintenance of order at match venues.
The development presents a fresh setback for Vision FC, who are already fighting to retain their top-flight status. Potential sanctions—including points deductions or restrictions on home fixtures—could significantly impact their survival bid.
The club has been given until Wednesday, May 7, 2026, to respond formally, with a detailed account of events and supporting evidence required as part of its defence.
Meanwhile, Vision FC are set to face Young Apostles FC in their outstanding Matchday 30 fixture of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
