Ghana is stepping up preparations for the global tournament, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer.
The Black Stars will begin their series of preparatory matches against Austria national football team on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Ernst Happel Stadium. Kick-off for the encounter in Vienna is scheduled for 17:00 GMT.
Following that fixture, the team will travel to Stuttgart for a second friendly against Germany national football team on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the MHP Arena.
In May, coach Otto Addo and his squad will face Mexico national football team in another preparatory match, although details regarding the venue and kick-off time are yet to be announced.
The final tune-up match will see Ghana travel to Cardiff to face Wales on June 2 at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Ghana heads into the tournament determined to improve on recent World Cup outings after suffering group-stage eliminations at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The four-time African champions have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama national football team, England national football team and Croatia national football team, setting up a challenging route to the knockout stage.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on June 17 before taking on England on June 23. Their final group match will be against Croatia on June 27.
