Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has heaped praise on compatriot Mohammed Kudus, describing the West Ham star as one of the nation's top talents.
Kudus, who made a strong impression in his debut season at West Ham United, endured a more challenging second campaign, netting just four goals in 32 appearances during the recently concluded season.
However, Partey, who plays for Arsenal, believes Kudus's overall quality remains undeniable.
“Well, I think I have to say a difficult year for [Mohammed] Kudus, and it also depends on the goals, but when it comes to quality, you can never say it is a difficult year for him," Partey said as reported by Pan African Football.
“For me, I always know he is one of the best we have in the country, and you know he is our star boy," he added.
Since joining the Hammers, Kudus has scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists in 80 appearances across all competitions.
Despite a dip in form, the 24-year-old continues to attract interest from top European clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
