FC Nordsjaelland defender, Caleb Yirenkyi, says he is delighted with the praises after making Black Stars debut.
The promising right back was introduced in Ghana's 2-1 defeat against Nigeria in the ongoing Unity Cup in London.
His timely interceptions and decision making has earned applause for his performance.
“I think it was a good opportunity for me to help, do my best for the team, and this was the main goal. I had a lot of praise, and I am happy with that,” he told 3Sports after the game.
Yirenkyi will hope to get the nod for the third place game against Trinidad & Tobego on Saturday at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Caleb Yirekyi was groomed at the Right to Dream Academy.
