
National Division One League outfit, King Faisal Football Club has announced the appointment of Francis Akwafo as the team’s new assistant coach.
The services of the tactician have been secured to augment the team’s technical team in the push for promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
At King Faisal, coach Francis Akwafo will play a supporting role to assist head coach Prince Acheampong.
“We welcome Francis Akwafo as our new assistant coach! He'll be working alongside Head Coach Prince Acheampong to bring success to our club! Welcome đ»đđđđ,” King Faisal announced in a statement on Wednesday, January 22.
King Faisal currently competes in Zone 2 of the National Division One League.
The Kumasi-based club is 9th on the league standings after amassing 11 points from nine matches in the ongoing 2024/25 football season.
The team’s next match is against Soccer Intellectuals on Monday, January 27. King Faisal must fight for a win to improve the team’s form and inspire the push for promotion to the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season.
