Medeama SC have confirmed that they have mutually parted ways with head coach Nebojsa Kapor.
This comes following the Yellow and Mauve's 3-2 defeat to Vision FC on Saturday in the Matchday 13 games of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Bosnian tactician, who signed a one-year deal in December 2023, leaves after both parties failed to agree on a contract extension.
"Both parties failed to reach an agreement on contract renewal," a portion of the club statement read.
The club also wished Kapor the best of luck in the future.
The club extends its gratitude to Coach Kapor for his contributions and wishes him success in his future endeavours."
Kapor’s departure comes amid an inconsistent campaign for Medeama, who entered the season as favourites in the Ghana Premier League but have struggled to maintain form.
The Mauves and Yellows currently sit three points off the top with 21 points from 13 games, recording six wins, four losses, and three draws.
Meanwhile, the Technical Director, Augustine Evans Adotey, takes charge of the team pending the appointment of a substance coach.
