Ghana international, Inaki Williams made history in Athletic Bilbao's hard-fought win against Las Palmas in the La Liga on Sunday.
The 29-year-old striker grabbed three assists on the night as Bilbao sealed a 2-3 win over Las Palmas.
His three assists against Las Palmas equalled his tally from last season when he registered three in the league last season.
Inaki set up Oihan Sancet for the opening goal of the game after just seven minutes played. The midfielder held a cool nerve to convert from Inkai's pass into his path.
23 minutes later, Inaki came into the picture again. This time, he teamed up with his younger brother, Nico Williams, who curled an effort past the Las Palmas goalkeeper.
The Black Stars forward added a third assist on the evening in the 75th minute as he cushioned Aitor Paredes to restore Bilbao's two-goal lead after Sandro Ramirez had pulled a goal back for the home side.
Las Palmas scored again in the 83rd minute but were unable to draw level from there on.
Inaki's three assists make him the first Bilbao player to register a hattrick of assists in a league game since Fran Yeste did the same against Real Betis in 2005.
He is expected to return to Black Stars squad for the doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in October.
