Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, the former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has lauded the current GFA leadership for their impressive upgrades to the Ghanaman Center of Excellence in Prampram.
Under the leadership of Kurt Okraku and in collaboration with betPawa, an AstroTurf field was recently inaugurated at the facility. This development is part of a broader effort to nurture future football talent in Ghana.
At the inauguration event, Dr. Tamakloe, who attended to celebrate the occasion, reflected on his own tenure, noting that his administration had only been able to construct a single facility.
“What I see here, I think we were able to put up only one structure at that time," he said.
“You’ve done very very well, so I say congratulations to the leadership," he added.
Once completed, the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence will boast several new features, including floodlights for the BetPawa AstroTurf, two premium natural grass pitches, a gym, a swimming pool, a Futsal arena, and a 40-bed accommodation facility.
