Hearts of Oak midfielder Glid Otanga has signed with newly-promoted Qatari club Al Kharaitiyat SC for the 2024/25 football season.
The 23-year-old had an impressive season with the Phobians and is now moving to the Thunders on a season-long loan with an option for a permanent transfer.
The Congolese midfielder made 26 appearances last season, starting in most games and providing one assist as a defensive midfielder.
His outstanding performance earned him a call-up to the Republic of Congo's senior national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Niger and Morocco.
Al Kharaitiyat SC finished second in the Qatargas League and will be competing in the top flight next season.
