Ghana forward, Inaki Williams starred with a top performance on Friday night to propel Athletic Bilbao to brush aside Deportivo Alaves in the Spanish La Liga.
The experienced forward started for his club today when the side faced off with the Round 6 opponent of the 2023/24 Spanish top-flight league campaign.
In what was an away match, Inaki Williams started on the flanks in the attack of his team and dazzled with a fine display.
He scored in the 18th minute to shoot Athletic Bilbao into a deserved lead after he was assisted by midfielder Mikel Vesga.
In the remainder of the contest, Inaki Williams worked his socks off and provided the assist for his team’s second goal of the game in the second half.
The equaliser netted by Oihan Sancet in the 78th minute sealed a 2-0 win for Athletic Bilbao to see off Alaves.
For his performance today, Inaki Williams finished the game with the highest rating among all the players that featured for the two teams.
After his goal against Deportivo Alaves, Inaki Williams has increased his goal tally after six games in the Spanish La Liga to three.
In that period, he has also provided two assists and is once again a key player for Athletic Bilbao.
