The Black Stars of Ghana on Thursday wrapped up the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers with win against Central African Republic (CAR).
On Thursday, September 7 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Ghana hosted CAR in their final Group E game of the qualifiers.
The four-time African champions needed a draw to seal their qualification.
Goals from Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah ensured that the Black Stars recorded a 2-1 win after Louis Mafouta had broken the deadlock for the away side.
The win mean Ghana have qualified for the tournament that will be hosted in Ivory Coast next year.
