Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus is part of the Ajax squad that will be starting the 2023/24 Dutch Eredivisie season next weekend.
The Black Stars poster boy has been linked with several moves to different clubs this summer.
Although it was reported that Brighton & Hove Albion has reached a deal with Ajax to sign the forward over the weekend, no transfer has happened.
Amid talks of the possible move to Brighton, Ajax has announced that Mohammed Kudus will continue to wear jersey number 20 at the club.
This is contained in the list of squad numbers unveiled by the Dutch giants ahead of the start of the new Eredivisie season next weekend.
Ajax kicks off the new season with a home match against Heracles. The game will be played on Saturday, August 12.
If a transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion does not happen in the next few days, Mohammed Kudus will be in action for Ajax during the game against Heracles.
