A former player of the Black Stars, Emmanuel Oblitey has died at age 69.
Oblitey died on Sunday, March 19 in Accra at the Joy specialist medical clinic.
He was a member of the team that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1963.
Oblitey was part of the team that represented Ghana in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
He was also part of the Black Stars team that toured Europe in 1961.
Oblitey also played for Great Olympics and Real Republicans.
