The much-talked-about 2022 National Cycling Championship in Ablekuma in Accra was held over the weekend.
Cyclists from all over the country took part in the exciting competition.
According to the Technical Director of the Ghana Cycling Federation, Mohammed Shaban, the event was very successful.
Anthony Boakye of River Pack Cycling club, B. A won the seniors race in a time of 4:15.56 over 152km.

Juniors - Average of 32km per hour, total - 104km
- 1st. Philip Ayensu Boafo (TBT Cycling club) - 3:17.01
- 2nd. Elias Sheriff ( Sky Sky) - 3:20.36
- 3rd. Prince Quaye ( (TBT Cycling club) - 3:25.54
U-23 - 152km
- 1st. Alexander Allotey (TBC Cycling club) - 4:36.24
- 2nd. Nii Quaye (Sky Team) - 4:40.14
- 3rd. Mohammed Ramsey (River Pack, Kumasi) - 4:40.15
Seniors - Average speed 35.6km per hour
- 1st. Anthony Boakye (River Pack Cycling club, B.A) - 4:15.56 152km
