Black Stars newbie, Antoine Semenyo made his Black Stars debut on Wednesday night against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers.
Ghana recorded a 3-0 win over the Barea in their Group E opener.
Goals from Kudus Mohammed, Felix Afena-Gyan, and Osman Bukari sealed the win for the home side.
Semenyo, who has been in a good form in the English Championship was introduced to take the place of Felix Afena-Gyan in the 76th minute as he appeared strong on the ball and contributed to the team's third goal of the game.
The Black Stars now sit top of its group with 3 points with goals difference.
The win is coach Otto Addo's first victory as head coach of the Black Stars and will now shift his attention to the second group game against the Central African Republic [CAR] in Angola on Sunday, June 5.
