The Youth and Sports Ministry has directed the Ghana Football Association [GFA] to dissolve the Black Stars management committee following the country’s disgraceful exit from the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON].
Ghana exited the competition from the group stage after losing to Morocco and Comoros.
The Black Stars failed to beat debutants Comoros in the final group game played in Garoua on Tuesday to exit the tournament.
The Ghana FA and the technical team led by Coach Milovan Rajevac have come under intense pressure after the exit with calls from the fans for the team to be dissolved and the coach sacked.
The Sports Ministry summoned the Ghana FA to a meeting on Friday and has directed the FA to reconstitute the current Black Stars management committee led by George Amoako.
Meanwhile, the Ghana FA have also been tasked to review the performance of the Serbian trainer.
