Ghana Premier League giants, Ashanti Gold SC have announced the signing of Kennedy Ashia ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 football season.
The Miners last season played well and had good moments in some parts of the campaign. Unfortunately, injury to some key players and change in managers meant that the team settled for a 9th place finish.
Preparing for the new football season, the club is now making efforts to bring in top players to strengthen the squad of the team.
In a post on the Twitter page of the club today, they have announced that they completed the signing of talented midfielder Kennedy Ashia on a two-year contract.
“𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗮: The former Liberty Professionals, SK Brann, Al Hilal and Welwalo University Adigrat player joins us on a 2-year deal,” a post on the Twitter page of the Obuasi-based club said on Saturday.
In addition to Kennedy Ashia, Ashanti Gold SC have also secured the services of Joseph Amoah, Aminu Adams, and Abdul Salam.
