
Division Two side, Okwawu United have appointed Ghana Football Association [GFA] Executive Council member, Samuel Anim Addo as the new Board Chairman.
Anim Addo was appointed by the Life Patron of the club, Daasebre Akouamoah Kwahuhene II.
The newly constituted board has been tasked to restore the club's past enviable position and brand and compete in the elite division.
Other of the board are Kingsley Adofo Addo who will serve as Secretary, Yaw Obeng as Financial Director, Emmanuel Akoto Bamfo as Marketing and Corporate Director with Prince Boateng serving as Operations Manager.
Daasebre Akouamoah also pleaded with well-meaning Ghanaians and supporters of the club to support the newly formed board.
The last time Okwawu United dominated the media headlines when was they played against Bechem United in the MTN FA Cup final staged at the Cape Coast Stadium in 2016.
Okwawu, however, lost the finals to the Hunters.
