Newly promoted Ghana Premier League outfit, Accra Lions FC have bolstered the squad of the team with the signing of talented midfielder Abass Salifu.
The club excelled in the National Division One League during the 2020/2021 season and as a result secured the rights to feature in the top-flight league in the upcoming campaign.
Keen on making an impact in the Ghana Premier League next season, the club has been in the market to sign top players that will help the team.
On the back of fruitful negotiations, the club has today announced that they have completed the signing of teenage sensation Abass Salifu from lower-tier side Young Apostles FC.
“Accra Lions Football Club have completed the signing of 17-year-old midfielder Abass Samari Salifu. The highly talented teenager joins us from Division One League side Young Apostles FC,” a statement on the Twitter page of the Premier League newcomers has said.
The signing means Accra Lions FC have signed two players already this week. On Tuesday, the club through a similar post on its Twitter page confirmed the acquisition of Nigerian striker Evans Eenee.
