Ghanaian striker Kwame Opokuscored the winner as USM Alger defeated Paradou on Monday night in the Algerian top-flight.
The former Asante Kotoko forward scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute after Paradou thought they had secured a point with an 89th-minute equaliser.
Abdelkrim Zouari gave the home side the lead as early as the 9th minute and they looked on course for three points.
However, a late surge by Paradou resulted in an equaliser leaving Alger stunned.
Opoku was at the right place to head home a corner and seal three points for Alger.
The win takes them to fourth and eight points behind leaders CR Belouizdad with three games to end the season.
Opoku has now scored four goals in 14 league games for Alger
The former Nkoransa Warriors striker joined the Algerian side from Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko.
