
Italian Seria A outfit Genoa FC have officially announced the signing of Caleb Ekuban on a four-year deal.
The Gahan striker joined the Rossoblu from Turkish SuperLig side, Trabzonspor.
Ekuban has signed a deal until June 2024 with the Rossoblu.
The 27-year-old returns to Italy, where he started his career with at Mantova.
The club's official statement reads, “The medical visit has been completed, the contract signed, and the documents have been exchanged. Caleb Ekuban is now a new player of the Grifone.”
Ekuban began his career in Italy at Mantova Youth team before moving to Chievo Verona where he spent 7 years at the youth and senior levels.
He never played for Chievo Verona in Serie A but has bagged 29 goals in 103 games for Trabzonspor.
He enjoyed loan spells at FC Suditrol, FC Lumezzane, AC Renate all in Italy and also FK Partizani in Albania.
He also had stint at English Premier League side Leeds United.
Ekuban was a member of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Egypt.
He has capped nine times for the senior national team of Ghana, scoring three goals.
