Belgian Pro League outfit, KV Oostende have announced that they have completed the signing of Ghanaian international David Atanga.
The pacey forward has joined from German Bundesliga 2 side Holstein Kiel and has committed to a three-year contract.
“KVO has signed David Atanga (24) for three seasons. The attacker comes from the German second division Holstein Kiel. Welcome!
“David Atanga trained in the Red Bull group, where he started in the local youth academy in his home country of Ghana, before joining Austrian FC Liefering,” a statement from KV Oostende announced on Friday afternoon.
David Atanga, last season spent the campaign in Austria where he played for top-flight side Admira Wacker.
Before that loan stint, the exciting forward had played for clubs including Red Bull Salzburg, SV Mattersburg, as well as Greuther Fürth.
He has shown great potential in the last few years and will be hoping to play regularly to continue his development to reach his full potential.
