
Croatian giants, HNK Rijeka have announced the signing of talented Ghana forward Issah Abass as the team strengthens its squad for the 2021/2022 football season.
The club last season finished 8th on the Croatian top-flight league table as Dynamo Zagreb impressively run away with the league title.
Keen on challenging for the league next season, HNK Rijeka are on the transfer market looking to bring in top players to bolsters their squad.
On the back of successful negotiations with Mainz 05, the Croatian club on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, completed the loan signing of pacey winger Issah Abass.
“Issah Abass is a new name in the ranks of Rijeka. The Ghanaian striker arrived in Rijeka on loan from Mainz,” the Croatian outfit announce on Tuesday evening.
The Ghana attacker in the past played for several clubs including Olimpija Ljubljana, FC Utrecht, as well as FC Twente.
Although just 22-years old, he has gained vast experience over the last few years and would have a lot to offer HNK Rijeka next season.
