Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker, Emmanuel Adebayor has penned a heartfelt letter to his daughter, Kendra, as she marks her birthday on Monday.
The Togo international shared a photo of his beautiful daughter on Instagram, accompanied by a very touching message.
Adebayor described Kendra as an absolutely charming and adorable daughter, adding that he’s proud of her.
“You are such a positive, charming, and absolutely adorable daughter,” the former Arsenal striker wrote.
“I am so proud that I get to call you my daughter because no other person could ever hope to compare to you. Happy birthday to my perfect princess Kendra.”
The 37-year-old was recently in the news following his breakup with his Namibian ex-girlfriend, Dillish Mathews.
Adebayor however, hasn’t been active since he left Paraguayan topflight side Club Olimpia.
He has played for Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and other clubs in Turkey.
