Currently playing his football in Israel, the centre-back owned by Maccabi Haifa is spending the season on loan at Hapoel Nof Hagalil.
With significant improvement in the past few years, David Acquah hopes to get the chance to play for the Ghana U-23 team soon.
According to him, he is a big fan of Asante Kotoko and wants to play for the Premier League record champions before the end of his career.
“Kotoko is my beloved club. I support Kotoko. It is my dream to play for Kotoko in the future,” David Acquah said in an interview on Original TV.
Keen on improving his game, the Ghanaian defender says he looks up to compatriot Jonathan Mensah as well as Liverpool and Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk.
