Michael Hesse Odamtten enjoyed the perfect start to his new job as Head Coach of Togolese giants, Maranatha after a hard-fought 1-0 away win over Entente2 on Sunday, 11/04/21.
A second-half strike from Christus Gboduikokou was enough to secure the three points for the visitors.
It was Maranatha’s first win in their last three games and the Ghanaian Coach believed the victory would go a long way to inspire hopes of a much-needed revival and climb up the league table.
The former Berekum Chelsea gaffer was delighted with the general performance of his team.
“Well the performance itself, for me it was very complete, both defensively and offensively,” said Hesse.
Maranatha’s next game will be at their home ground against AS Otr on Wednesday, 14th April 2021.
