Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak have severed ties with Nigerian forward Ademola Danjuma Kuti, Modernghana Sports can report.
The capital-based club in April 2020 announced the signing of the lanky striker on a two-year deal in a bid to strengthen their squad.
Although he arrived with a lot of expectations, Danjuma Kuti never quite had the chance to play as a result of the truncating of the league campaign last season and injury setbacks.
After a fallen out with officials of the club, he has now mutually parted ways with Hearts of Oak as he looks forward to joining a different club.
“We are pleased to announce to all Phobians that we have mutually terminated the contract of Nigerian international Danjuma Kuti,” a Hearts of Oak statement said on Wednesday.
The statement adds, “All his entitlements have been paid to him and we wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak have announced that highly-rated left-back Raddy Ovouka has signed a contract extension deal until 2024.
