Talented youngster, Percious Boah netted a brace on Tuesday evening to power the Ghana U-20 team to defeat the Tanzania U-20 team 4-0.
The two teams today locked horns at the Nouadhibou Stadium for the opening Group C match of the 2021 Total CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
On the matchday, the Ghana team had a bright start to the game and took the lead after just four minutes into the first half when striker Percious Boah scored from a direct free-kick.
Continuing to dominate the opponent, the Black Satellites doubled their lead in the half-hour mark when talisman Abdul Issahaku Fatawu scored with a thunderbolt strike from the centre circle.
With the Tanzanian U-20 team unable to make incursions, the Ghana U-20 returned from the break to pile more misery on the side.
A second goal from Percious Boah plus a strike from Joselpho Barnes sealed a delightful 4-0 win for the Black Satellites as they go top of Group C.
The team will face Gambia and Morocco in the other Group C matches in hopes of progressing to the knockout stage of the CAF U-20 AFCON.
