Hearts Of Oak has demoted Coach Edward Nii Odoom from first-team head coach to take charge of the junior team of the club after failing to win in any of the team's first two matches of the new season.
This comes on the back of the official announcement on Tuesday confirming the appointment of Serbian tactician Kosta Papic as the new head coach of the capital-based club.
Shockingly, this looks like a repeat of what happened last season when the management of the Phobians changed managers after the first matchday of the Ghana Premier League campaign.
The only difference is that at that time, Coach Kim Grant was laid off completely after losing the first top-flight league encounter.
For Coach Odoom, he gets to continue working for Hearts of Oak but will now be in charge of the junior team, a side he has been with for the last few years.
Meanwhile, newly-appointed head coach Kosta Papic is commencing work immediately and will be in the dugout in the coming weekend when Hearts of Oak takes on Karela United on Matchday 4 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
