Money makes the world go round. This expression obviously should be used to describe the whiff of money displayed by the Nigeria Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic when she added a year last Sunday at the Wanle Akinboboye's La Campaigne Tropicana, Akodo Beach, Ajah, Lagos.

The beach party held on Sunday July 12, 2009 was tagged Rita's Party Rocked and had the presence of the indefatigable women of essence, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Remi Lagos and Helen Ajayi as special guests of honour while the likes of Kate Henshaw-Nuptal, Stephanie Okereke, Ini Edo Suzan Peters, Bibiano Ohio, Adaeze Igwe, Uche Jombo all teemed to rejoice with their own on her special day in grand style.

One of the side attractions of the day was the horse ride and tri-cycle cruising which was like a form of entertainment to the celebrant and well-wishers. A day prior to the event, Rita's guests led by co actor, Mike Ezeruonye Joseph Yobo, the Super Eagle skipper and co-owner of Akeem Sodeinde's Insomnia Nightclub in Ikoyi, Said Gerges of Coconut Groove and others were said to have resumed at the Akodo, Ajah based beach, and they were said to have virtually turned the whole place upside down with fun and fanfare.
