Toyin Abraham Unveils Bolaji Ogunmola As Funmi In 'Bestie'

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has unveiled actress Bolaji Ogunmola as the latest cast member of her upcoming movie, 'Bestie'.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, the box office queen announced that Bolaji will play the character of Funmi in the film.

Abraham described Bolaji as her GOAT, praising her for coming ready for war and absolutely killing her role. She noted that there were no leftovers, adding that the actress delivered an outstanding performance.

She wrote:
"My GOAT Bolaji as Funmi in BESTIE! My GOAT came ready for war and absolutely KILLED her role! No leftovers! BESTIE in cinemas from 16th December!"

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toyin Abraham announced that 'Bestie' is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 16, 2026.

In the anticipation video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, September 4, she showcased her previous theatrical releases, including 'Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper', Malaika', 'Alakada: Bad and Boujee', and 'Oversabi Aunty', before announcing the latest title.

On Monday, September 14, Abraham began the official unveiling of the casts for 'Bestie'.

The latest unveiling of Bolaji Ogunmola adds to a strong cast list including Pete Edochie as Papa Ngozi, Sola Sobowale as Mama Ngozi, Imisi as Suzy Baby, Maurice Sam as Peter, Yakubu Mohammed as Hassan, Sandra Okunzuwa as Juliet, Okon Lagos as Chibuzor, skitmaker Lizzy Jay, Zubby Michael, and singer Reminisce as Kazeem, building anticipation ahead of its release.
