Popular gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey has expressed his condolences following the passing of gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings.
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday, Bassey noted that while he had never met the late singer, he had heard of his impactful work in music ministry.
The convener of Hallelujah challenge admitted that it is always painful to hear of young people passing at their prime.
He noted that as a child of God, though it hurts, believers trust that Toluwanisings is in a better place.
He further prayed for strength and comfort for the singer's immediate family, friends, and loved ones, declaring that it is well in Jesus' name.
He wrote:
"Seen and heard about the passing of this brother - Tolusings. Not someone I've met before. But I've heard how well and great He was doing in His music ministry. Always painful to hear and see young people pass at their prime. But as a child of God, though it hurts, we believe He is in a better place. I pray strength and comfort for His immediate family, friends and loved ones. It is well, in Jesus' name."
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toluwanisings passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as confirmed by his family on his verified Instagram page.
