Toyin Abraham Unveils Sandra Okunzuwa As Juliet In 'Bestie'

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has unveiled actress Sandra Okunzuwa as the latest cast member of her upcoming movie, 'Bestie'.

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, she announced that Sandra will play the character of Juliet, the girl child in the film.

Abraham described Sandra as her Gen Z GOAT actress, praising her for bringing her A-game and owning the role.

The box office queen also noted that Sandra is the girl child everyone needs to look out for, adding that she delivered an outstanding performance.

She wrote:
"My Gen Z GOAT actress, Sandra, plays Juliet, the girl child in BESTIE! She brought her A-game and absolutely owned the role! She's that girl child we all need to look out for. BESTIE is coming to ALL CINEMAS from 16th December!"

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toyin Abraham announced that 'Bestie' is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 16, 2026.

In the anticipation video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, September 4, she showcased her previous theatrical releases, including 'Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper', 'Malaika', 'Alakada: Bad and Boujee', and 'Oversabi Aunty', before announcing the latest title.

On Monday, September 14, Abraham began the official unveiling of the cast for 'Bestie'.

The latest unveiling of Sandra Okunzuwa adds to a strong cast list including Pete Edochie as Papa Ngozi, Sola Sobowale as Mama Ngozi, Imisi as Suzy Baby, Maurice Sam as Peter, Yakubu Mohammed as Hassan, actress Lizzy Jay, and singer Reminisce, building anticipation ahead of its release.
