Toyin Abraham Unveils Imisi As Suzy Baby In 'Bestie'

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has unveiled Big Brother Naija season 10 winner Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, as the latest cast member of her upcoming movie, 'Bestie'.

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, the box office queen announced that Imisi will play the character of Suzy Baby in the film.

Abraham expressed excitement about having the reality star on board, describing her as a darling and the GOAT of BBNaija. She urged fans to anticipate the movie's release in cinemas on December 16.

"My darling Imisi, the GOAT of BBNaija, as Suzy baby in BESTIE! BESTIE — in cinemas from 16th December! Let's go, fam!"

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toyin Abraham announced that her upcoming project 'Bestie' is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 16, 2026.

In the anticipation video shared on her Instagram page on Friday September 4, she showcased her previous theatrical releases, including 'Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper', 'Malaika', 'Alakada: Bad and Boujee', and 'Oversabi Aunty', before announcing the latest title.

On Monday, September 14, Abraham began the official unveiling of the cast for her 'Bestie'.

The unveiling of Imisi adds to the strong list of casts that Abraham is featuring in her upcoming theatrical release. She had recently unveiled Pete Edochie as Papa Ngozi and Sola Sobowale as Mama Ngozi in the film, building anticipation ahead of its release.
