Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing and Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner Phyna are set to settle their differences in the boxing ring.
The pair have been unveiled as opponents for the next edition of the "Chaos in the Ring" celebrity boxing event, scheduled for October 1 2026, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
Nkechi Blessing shared the boxing poster on her Instagram page, captioning it with a warning to Phyna. The event is powered by Bet9ja and will be streamed exclusively on DAZN and Supersport.
The announcement comes after the two engaged in a fresh online confrontation. The Nigerian Voice recalls that Nkechi Blessing had criticised Phyna for her constant online clashes, advising her to relax and respect herself. Phyna fired back, sharing screenshots of a private chat and accusing Nkechi of chasing clout with her name.
She captioned the post with: "E don burst… @unusualphyna you don't want to go this route with me put your money on me sha cus na sure odd I no want talk too much till October 1st."
This follows the growing trend of celebrity boxing matches in Nigeria, with Portable, Speed Darlington, Carter Efe, and Charles Okocha having spearheaded the move in recent times.
