Nkechi Blessing Calls Out Phyna Over Online Drama, Phyna Fires Back

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing and Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner Phyna have engaged in a fresh online confrontation, with both trading words over the reality star's frequent clashes on social media.

In a video shared on Instagram, Nkechi criticised Phyna for what she described as her constant engagement in online confrontations, alleging that she fights with everybody. She noted that people often tell her she resembles Phyna whenever she posts pictures, a comparison she finds troubling.

NBS, as she is fondly called, admonished Phyna to relax, reminding her that she is older and not her mate, and questioned whether she had elders at home to caution her. She also stated that she used to be troublesome herself but found peace after stepping away from internet drama, urging Phyna to respect herself.

Phyna, however, fired back via her Instagram story, sharing screenshots of a private conversation between her and Nkechi. In the chat, Phyna had reached out to Nkechi in August, expressing interest in featuring her on a 30-45 minute in-person stream.

She asked Nkechi to name her budget, but Nkechi replied that she would be shooting from September 3 to 5 for a full movie production and asked how much Phyna would charge her for a three-day shoot. Phyna said she was doing a 100-hour challenge for a show and would get back to her. Nkechi jokingly replied, "Kuku kill me."

Phyna later explained that she doesn't open Instagram quickly, noting that she is more active on Snapchat and WhatsApp.

In her comment on the chat, Phyna accused Nkechi of chasing clout with her name, writing that there had been no further conversation between them since that chat, yet Nkechi was posting videos about her.

Nkechi Blessing said:
"Phyna, what's your problem? You know wetin kon dey vex me pass… if I post picture, people go dey tell me say: is it my eyes or you look like Phyna. I troublesome oh but God no go let me resemble that girl."

"She is too troublesome. Phyna, relax… must you fight with everybody? I know say you go come for me oh, but number one, I am not your mate. So before you set your camera and try to insult me, just know say I am 37."

"I senior you. But you need to calm down. You are doing too much. You just come online and talk to people anyhow. Are you okay?"

"Don't you have people that talk to you at home? You no get elders for your house? Before you know, you would say they are trying to bully you. You know who they bully reach for this internet space? Try rest. See me now, I used to be a very troublesome person but ever since I stop doing all this internet drama, I have peace. You don't like peace? I would call you with my full chest."

"If you don't have anyone to tell the truth, I Nkechi Blessing, I would tell you. Try dey respect yourself… you are just trending for the wrong reasons."

Phyna fired back:
"Since after that chat me and you no get any conversation again. So where is all this your nonsense videos coming from? @nkechiblessingsunday Abi na clout you wan chase? Wassup, grandma wassup?."
