Afrobeats star Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been named the headline act for the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game.
The self-acclaimed African Giant will entertain fans during the clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, at the Stade de France in Paris.
The game is billed for 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time (9:30 a.m. ET), with Burna Boy's set forming part of the NFL's international games programme for the 2026 season. The National Football League announced on Thursday that the Paris show will be one of seven halftime performances lined up across its 2026 International Games, covering seven countries and four continents.
Reacting to the announcement, Burna Boy expressed his excitement about the opportunity, noting that Paris previously gave him one of the biggest nights of his career. He said returning to the Stade de France for such a moment means everything to him.
He also noted that the NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened there before, and he is honoured to represent African music on such a stage, promising fans an unforgettable performance.
He said:
"Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything."
"The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and I get to stand in the middle of it representing African music and I intend to give the people a show they will not forget."
