Veteran actress Rita Edochie has fired back at critics who claimed she is battling arthritis, mocking them for focusing on her health instead of their own lives.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, she danced energetically while addressing the speculation, questioning whether their mothers could ever be as strong, active, and flexible as she is.
Rita dismissed the arthritis claims, stating that she moves around, tours different places, stands for hours, and remains active from morning till night. She boasted about her strength and energy, declaring that she is the mother who mothered their mother.
The movie star also addressed those who are tired of seeing her, advising them to delete their social media accounts if her presence disturbs them.
Bragging further, she stressed that while critics were busy diagnosing her with arthritis, she was actually touring different places to promote and support her cinema movie.
She wrote:
"Can their mothers ever be as strong, active, energetic, and flexible as I am? Impossible. Did I perceive that your mother is in the village struggling with her steps? Are you upset that she barely dances as I do? Your mama get doings? Oh, poor you, dear; I think I can understand."
"Well, you see me moving around, touring different places, standing for hours, active from morning till night, yet your empty head could only find arthritis to talk about. Chaiii. I am the mother that mothered their mother!! My doings dey cry. I am strong, I am active, and I am giving you people pressure."
"You are only jealous because I am trending. My name is everywhere, and it is obviously disturbing you. If you are tired of seeing me, delete your social media accounts and free yourself of it; otherwise, you will go blind from watching me."
"Anyway, while you were busy diagnosing yourselves with arthritis, I was actually very busy touring different places to promote and support the cinema movie."
