Renowned Nigerian filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan has issued a plea to aspiring writers and creators, asking them to stop sending unsolicited scripts to his production company, Anthill Studios.

Taking to his Instagram page, he revealed that he has received over 250 unsolicited screenplays, with 80 per cent of them being epic fantasies, along with a few action and sci-fi projects.

Akinmolayan noted that the influx of scripts began after the release of his film 'Colours of Fire' on Netflix, with many people asking Anthill to help them bring their ideas to life.

According to him, while he understands their aspirations and wishes the studio had the capacity to take on every project, he stressed that he cannot accept unsolicited scripts.

He further urged people to stop sending them.
He wrote:
