Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has made a startling revelation about his past, confessing that he once accepted money to fake a physical disability during a staged healing service at a church.

The Yoruba actor shared the story during an interview with Feel Right, where he opened up about his early struggles before he became a well-known actor.

The veteran actor disclosed that he acted as a cripple for the staged miracle, and the organisers paid him for the role. He admitted that he used the money to drink at the time, as he was still a student.

Solade, however, declined to mention the names of those involved, stating that they are still alive.

He said:
"I have been used for miracle then, when I was not popular. I acted as a cripple, they paid, I used the money to drink, then I was a student."

"The people involved are still alive; I just don't want to mention names."
