Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has made a strong declaration regarding the importance of proof in any allegation.
In a candid Instagram post on Wednesday, she referenced a legal principle, stating that the party who alleges must prove, and no one is above the law.
Iyabo also addressed public perception of her activism, noting that her involvement in social issues has often made her a target. She maintained that she has no regrets about her activism and would do it again if given the chance, though she now prefers to keep such efforts away from social media.
She further reassured her fans and loved ones that God is in control and that her family continues to progress under His grace.
Ojo also clarified that she never posts anything fake and urged the public to verify information for themselves.

"ANYONE WHO ALLEGES MUST PROVE. No one is above the law. Don't be deceived. The law and justice will take its full course. Also please, It's 2026. Please stop believing anyone who comes online to manipulate grown adults like you... Saying 'I have proof, I have evidence' without ever showing or posting the evidence for you to verify for yourself..."
"Also kindly note this: I was never just an Ordinary actress or celebrity. Activism has been, and will always be, a part of me. I have NO regrets. I repeat, I have NO regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for. If I had the opportunity to do it again, I would. I just no longer bring it to social media."
"All this noise these miscreants call 'attacks' is as a result of my activism. And I honestly have no regrets because I have stood on the right path. 1 with God is a majority, and my confidence lies solid in Him."
"No one is bigger than God, and hence no one can rewrite my story or that of my kids. No matter how hard they plot, curse, defame, manipulate, twist and bark. My family and I are God's chosen."
"Also, to be clear to all those, our amazing fans and loved ones who are truly worried, please be at peace. God is in control. His blessings in our lives are a testament to His grace, greatness, celebration and protection in our lives. We have continued to progress, and my family and I will continue to do so in God's likeness and glory."
"Please let me be very clear: There is NO WAY — I repeat, NO WAY — we would ever post anything on social media that is fake."
"It's a public notice. You can go verify it if you are in denial. Know that. And know peace. To my fans and loved ones, I love you and appreciate you. Everywhere stew Queen Mother says so"
