Timi Dakolo Calls Out Man Over Alleged iPhone Scam, Warns Public

Popular Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has called out a man he accused of defrauding him in a failed iPhone transaction.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the singer revealed that he gave the man money for an iPhone 17 for his wife four months ago, but the phone was never delivered.

Dakolo recounted how the man kept giving excuses, claiming the phone was on its way, that delivery would call soon, or that it had been sent to London. He also noted that the man has been posting the new phone on social media.

The singer warned the public to be careful of the man and whatever he is advertising, describing him as very dishonest and noting that he resides in Canada, making it difficult to reach him.

He wrote:
"Please help me and repost. You might save someone. Public service announcement. Be careful of this guy. It's been 4 months since I gave him money for an iPhone 17 for my wife. The guy has eloped with my money. It's been one lie or the other. The phone is on its way; the delivery will call you soon; I sent it to London, etc. As you can see, he is already posting the new phone. My advice is, be careful of the guy and whatever he is advertising. Very dishonest guy. He stays in Canada, so you can't get a hold of him."
