The national body of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) led by Ibinabo Fiberesima has given the sum of N500,000 to the Lagos State chapter of the guild, headed by its chairman, Victor Osuagwu, who is a popular comic actor.
The presentation was done on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the national secretariat of AGN in Surulere, Lagos.
Speaking on the donation, Ibinabo said, “this fund is not a gift, but money from the recent revalidation exercise of AGN members. It belongs to the Lagos State chapter because after revalidation, members of AGN, who revalidated were majorly from Lagos State chapter.
“The national had an amount from the revalidation process while the state chapter also had. So, that is the cheque we presented to the Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of AGN, Victor Osuagwu and his executives.”
