Oge Ogwo is a radio presenter who is just like the gal next door. But the quiet life she lives is being disturbed by an increasingly popular gist that she is dating Chelsea star, John Mikel Obi.
But Ogwo has denied having any affair with the footballer. According to Ogwo, who spoke to niyitabiti.blogspot.com, “I was surprised to read in a soft sell magazine that we have been dating for sometime. In fact, I have never seen him. I was not even around the day he came to my station for an interview. How they managed to join us together still baffles me.”
Ogwo said she had a man in her life and she was not ready to trade him for anybody, not even a football star. “I am in love with someone and I think I am contented with him.”
Besides her radio job, Ogwo is passionate about children to the extent that she formed an non-governmental organisation to alleviate the plight of street kids.
“A lot of these kids are not on the streets by their own design. They are the ones feeding themselves. At the end, they get so frustrated and before you know it, they turn into criminals,” she said. She appealed to Nigerians at home and abroad to look for ways of helping children who were living under this condition so that they won't turn out to hurt the society that failed to cater for them.
Life and Beat gathered that Ogwo was also working on a project that would get some celebrities together to campaign against child abuse in the society.
