It is no news that charming Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has dragged singer, 9ice into the acting world.
The light skinned screen diva, who recently returned from the United States of America from a film school, played 9ice in a lead role in her new movie, Jejere.
The film was shot on some locations in Osogbo; the Osun State capital in South West Nigeria, and some choice places in Lagos.
"I have always wanted to make movies that will stand side-by-side any movie from anywhere in the world. Jejere is a product of my creativity and hunger to please my creative mind," Laide stated.
Jejere is a movie from the stable of Laide's repackaged Simline International, which is into movie and documentary production, record label and production consultancy.
Actors like Emeka Ike, 9ice, Fathia Balogun, Akin Lewis, Ireti Osayemi, Tola Oladokun, Afeez Eniola, Toyin Adegbola and Segun Ogungbe, who doubles as co-director amongst others dazzled in the film.
Jejere tells the importance of the girl child in the society. It will be premiered along with the launch of her production house and NGO in a soon to be announced date.
