The awaited video release of MTV's Shuga soundtrack has finally been premiered. The video, which features Banky W and Whizkid was premiered on Friday, March 16.
The video was simultaneously unveiled at a VIP screening of Shuga: Love, S*x, Money at Silverbird Galleria, Lagos and on MTV Base Spanking New programme last week Friday.
The music video was directed by Clarence Peters. It was shot on some locations in Kenya.
The artistes came together after MTV Base and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation commissioned them to create the track to promote the TV series, Shuga: Love S*x, Money.
The audio track of Shuga was released in February 2012.
Shuga: Love, S*x, Money addresses s*xual health topics head-on, confronting taboo topics such as r*pe and s*x-for-gifts, told through the lives of realistic characters and emotional situations drawn from real life.
