FEB 16, 2020 LISTEN

"Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name:

But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death.

Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.

And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her.

And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day" -

Judges 13:6-10 KJV

Today we will continue with the topic " Lessons before the birth of Samson".

We will continue with " How do you relate with your spouse"?.

We are told from the scripture that, Manoah was told how the angel of God appeared to his wife.

In our daily life, we are involved in one relationship or the other. The relationship could be family, friendship, marriage, work, school etc.

Is there any issue on how we relate with one another? Is the relationship founded on truth or lies, openness or secrecy etc?

In this piece, there are some lessons we can learn from it. Here are some lessons we can glean from this topic.

1. In every relationship, be honest to each other or one another.

2. In every relationship ask questions to things you don't know so that you are not lost.

3. Let God be first in your relationship.

4. Base on your relationship with God, He may choose to answer you or not.

5. God has been visiting His people through His angels.

6. There is always an angel of God response for your need or safety.

At this moment, is your relationship with others solid or weak?

Prayer

Righteous Father, continue keeping us under your wings for your glory now and ever in Jesus' name, Amen.
