Nkrumah

Nkrumah

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah

Legendary Son of Black Africa

Black revolution teacher

Sung by many yet read by few

Oh motherland

When shall thou honor thy heroes

Colonial studies a part of our education

Nkrumaism finding its way out of the syllabus

Our history gradually distorting

Oh motherland

Let the truth be told to the children

That they may tell their children the truth

Our syllabus, yes our syllabus

Has to change

Nkrumaism a core

A core of our study

Ghana, Africa and beyond

Osagyefo lives forever
